Compose Starter is a production-style starter: a modular Gradle project (app, core and feature modules) with MVVM and unidirectional state, a hand-written dependency container, Navigation Compose, Material 3 theming with dark mode and dynamic color, Room (KSP) for saved items, DataStore for settings and a fake-API networking seam. The sample reading app has a searchable feed, article detail, an offline-capable saved list and settings, with loading, error, empty and no-results states, English and Spanish strings, accessibility semantics, JVM unit, Compose UI and screenshot tests, and GitHub Actions workflows. A SwiftUI twin (iOS 17, SwiftData, XcodeGen) mirrors the structure and look.

The Android app is built and tested (assembleDebug and 32 unit tests pass); the iOS code could not be compiled in the Mammoth lab and its preview images are an HTML/CSS UI preview.
