Home / Automation / Make Scenarios

Most automation work is data work: messy phone numbers, hidden emails, inconsistent postal codes, columns you need to total or summarise. These six Make scenarios show the core tools for it, one concept each, in a form you can import and run in minutes.
Start with text and math functions in the formula editor, move to numeric and text aggregators (using the Weather app as a free data source), then tackle real cleanup: normalise phone numbers against a country column, pull emails out of free-text comments with RegEx, and validate zip codes with a Switcher that applies a different pattern per country and logs failures.
Fictional sample spreadsheets (input and expected result) are included for every scenario so you can compare your output, plus the country-to-RegEx table used by the validator. A start-here guide covers import steps and the connections you need. Browse, preview and copy any file in the built-in pack browser, or download everything as a zip.
