Home / Automation / Make Scenarios

Webhooks and the HTTP module are how Make talks to everything else. This pack gives you matching pairs: a custom webhook that receives a request and an HTTP scenario that sends one, so you can build, trigger and debug an API endpoint entirely inside Make.
The lookup webhook reads a query parameter, searches a Google Sheet and answers with 200 and a JSON contact or 404 Not found through a router. The POST webhook accepts a JSON body, appends a row and replies with a JSON success message that includes the row number. A strict client shows how capitalised keys and a defined data structure let Make reject malformed requests.
A plain GET to a public API gets you started.
Sample sheets and request and response bodies are included, and a start-here guide explains how to create your own webhooks and replace the placeholder URLs. Use the pack browser to preview, copy or download any file.
